Swiss made Pletscher Carrier
Pletscher Carrier come in a couple of different versions.

QuickRack

is the ingenious way to take the carrier off your bike without any tools. It comes with specific mounting bolts for the bike. All other carrier do not come with fixing bolts, as they can vary from bike to bike. but every hardware store usually has a couple. Usually you can use so called waterbottle bolts to mount the carrier. The Pletscher

SYSTEM or Easy-Fix

is available on a couple of carriers, like the Master and the Atlete. The System has 3 anchor points on the carrier, which allow you to securely fix a couple of accessories, like a bag, wire basket, safe, and even a childseat rattlefree to the carrier. You can release and exchange the accessories, without tools. The

Suspension

carrier allows the use on a bike with rear suspension, the stays are allowed to pivot with the suspension.

Pletscher Carrier made in Switzerland. The above is the Athlete "System EasyFix" "QuickRack" with Quick release. The clamp on the seatpost accomodates 34 mm dia Seatposts. The ingenious part is the lower mounting point. When you want to detach the carrier, you open the Q/R and than swing the carrier back, voila.

Pletscher QuickRack Suspension

Pletscher "QuickRack" "Suspension". Seatpost clamp.Comes with bungee strap. This Rack has the same quick release function as the AThlete series above, i.e. can be removed in seconds.
