BioLogic Velvet saddle

The long awaited .... W I D E R .... SDG compatible seat. The velvet has much thicker padding and is wider, compared to the sporty I-Beam seat specified on some Dahon bikes. This is an I-Beam seat and will only fit on I-Beam Seatposts.

BioLogic AirFlo saddle

The BioLogic™ AirFlo is an ergonomic saddle designed for comfort. The Mojo Groove, a long central channel, eliminates pressure on soft tissues that normally hurt after a long ride. The wider rear provides excellent support for your sit bones. An air scoop on the underside of the saddle channels air into the Mojo Groove to keep you cool and dry on long rides. BioLogic™ PostPump seat post

How many times have you knelt on the ground and cursed under your breath as you've tried to inflate a tire with a small mini pump? If you're like us, it's been too many times to count. The PostPump is an ingenious product that integrates a powerful floor pump with a seat post. The pump is always ready to go, hidden from the elements, thieves, and your own forgetfulness. To use the pump all you do is remove the seat post from the frame, attach the valve, flip out the foot peg, and start pumping using the saddle as the handle. Go over 100psi in less than half the strokes of the best mini pumps. Brilliant! Suitable for all models 34 mm seat posts. 729 grams, 550 mm long

Suspension is a good thing - especially on small wheel bikes with high pressure tires. Our BioLogic™ seat post lets you float above the holes, bumps, and ruts in the road. The suspension mechanism is a special low-profile design to keep the folded size of the bike to a minimum. In addition to a striking forged clamp, the BioLogic™ seat post features adjustments for pre-load and side play. 34mm diameter.

The new LT Thudbuster on a Dahon specific diameter post. Fits all 16 and 20 inch bikes.

The BLACK seatpost is no longer butted (smaller diameter) near the top. Allowing you to clamp the Q/R in the all compressed ( folding) position.
Based on a patented parallel-linkage design, the Thudbuster LT provides up to 3 inches of active stiction-free travel. Unlike telescoping suspension posts, there is no initial stiction to overcome. The suspension mechanism works in the direct path of the natural travel of the rear wheel.

The LT gives you a max extension of 55 cm or 21 inches (within safe insertion to the frame a bare minimum of 10 cm or 4 inches)

Dahon telescoping seat post

Dahon specicfic extended seatpost. Fits all 16 and 20 inch bikes. It has a quick release so you can easily lower the seatpost and make the fold more compact. Maximum extension length with the supplied 27.2 regular seatpost at the upper end is 650 mm or roughly 25 3/4 inches. One could replace the upper regular road style seatpost with a longer MTB seatpost in 27.2 mm dia. The supplied upper part regular seatpost is 270 mm long. This is also a great upgrade if you want to use a regular saddle versus the I-beam saddle.

Total weight is 630 grams. The lower unit with quick release is 430 grams. The top “regular” seatpost is 260 grams.
