Not all spokes are always in stock. Use several spoke length calculators to find a good measurement. If you want to return spokes, they obviously can only be returned if not being used, meaning if you built a wheel and find out they are too long or too short, than they are USED and non returnable ! especially on the CXRay and Superspokes I personally like to go a little shorter if the measurment falls between the available lengths. Dont try to use a longer nipple in order to compensate for a wrong measurement, no matter how long the nippel is on the outside the thread part inside is always the same length.
